now we got 4 ½ years consiliatura and mandate of the mayor Tombolillo coming to an end. I would not make, as always the same budget on the works or the inertia of the City Council, because there will be no way past the next municipal councils to do so, but I would like to talk about how they should be dealt with months of political activity and election campaigns will inevitably .
Once again there is nothing to talk about names and surnames of candidates for mayors and councilors. Not that it's wrong, but I think it is appropriate and important to begin to bring a breath of culture and design in the political debate. I would like to conclude these five years of experience in knowing that the city council paved the way for a dialogue focused on works public, social and economic projects, rather than just bar talk related only to full-appointments.
If it were possible to start from a real political agenda and not a name, Pontinia whole has already won the start: Never before has essential and vital to rethink a new land-use plan and with it a new socio- without excluding any economy of the entire area or outskirts.
I find it important to talk about: the employment crisis and how it should be solved or at least reduced, new technologies and lack of proper maintenance to school buildings, inadequate social policies for families, children, the elderly and the disabled, lack of new areas edificabili per consentire il rilancio dell’edilizia, da sempre primo motore dell’economia di un paese; tassazione diretta e imposte sui servizi eccessivamente elevati entrambi e quindi donare massima urgenza a piani economici di detassazione.
Pontinia è rimasta per troppi anni ferma alla semplice ordinaria amministrazione: all past administrations of the past 25 years have been concerned simply to maintain the status quo of the city. It is too small for a town of nearly 15,000 inhabitants that surely deserves a new class of leaders who can take strong decisions, based on projects approved by the citizens, who are sometimes hard, but they have a soul, an identity and a vision future. Too many times we have witnessed very courageous choices or even the "not chosen" for fear of making mistakes. This policy of the ostrich, sticking its head in the ground, can not stand losing, and certainly is especially until 2010.
In these five years are happy to have participated to design large projects such as that of the commercial center in the former Miral, or one linked to the detailed plan of the city center or the acquisition of the former by Hilma give back to citizens through a center of food retailing local products and fresh.
These operations, not surprisingly, are all subsidiaries of a joint effort between city councilors, that we were able to put aside, for once, the idea of \u200b\u200bbeing different and labeled in green, white and red, and we felt pontine animals that eventually all work for the good of the entire community. We know how to do this in the near future and hope to find more and more young people in electoral lists in the City Council and the Board and maybe see some administrator who stands there for over 20 years finally going into retirement.
matter to families living in wealth and knowledge that their children will have a future! Pontinia deserves better and deserves it right now.
