La via Pontina, una delle più pericolose d'Italia, si trasforma in un'autostrada a pagamento. Il progetto che, con varie 'riforme' si trascina dagli anni '90, non rimarrà solo sulla carta. E questo grazie all'atteso sblocco dei fondi ministeriali. L'annuncio arriva dal presidente della Regione Lazio Renata Polverini . «Il Cipe oggi ha dato il via libera al progetto corridoio intermodale Roma-Latina ed al collegamento Cisterna-Valmontone. Da oggi quindi l'autostrada Roma-Latina è una realtà». L'importo complessivo dell'opera è di 2 miliardi e 728 milioni di euro e sarà realizzata in partenariato pubblico-privato: il contributo pubblico non supererà il 40%. I restanti 711 milioni, invece, sono inseriti nel piano programmatico per le infrastrutture 2011-2013 del Governo. «Oggi - ha aggiunto Polverini - il Cipe ha sbloccato i primi 468 milioni di euro con l'approvazione del progetto definitivo dell'opera». La nuova autostrada sarà a pedaggio.
