As a member of CAL (council of local governments) of the Lazio Region, I wish to inform the Interior Ministry sent a note signed by the department heads for territorial affairs. Dr. Pansa has in fact issued a circular which relates to the 20% reduction in the number of councilors and provincial institutions for which it provides for the renewal of their counsel, in observance of the Law March 26, 2010, No 42 Conversion of Decree-Law of 25 January 2010, No 2 entitled: "Urgent action needed on local and regional authorities." As you know, art. 1, paragraph 2 of Law No 42/2010, amended and supplemented the art. 2, paragraphs 183 to 187 of the Law 191/2009 (Finance Act 2010) on the containment of the costs of providing local authorities to this end, the gradual reduction in the number of directors and councilors, municipal and provincial.
